SearchBoise.com listings are free because of the ads that we serve on every page throughout the site.

Why should I have a listing on SearchBoise.com?
SearchBoise.com is the premiere online directory and search engine focused solely on Boise and the Treasure Valley and as such the traffic that the site receives is very targeted. Are you going to start charging for listings in the future?
No. There are no plans to charge for the free listings, though we are considering offering an upgraded paid listing that would eliminate all advertising around the listing as well as give the listing preferred placement over free listings. If and when this occurs, free listings will still remain free regardless. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this, so please feel free to drop us a line.
Do I have to link back to SearchBoise.com?
No, but it would be appreciated.
Can I have multiple listings?
No. In order to discourage duplicate content and keep the site as focused and relevant as possible, we no longer allow multiple listings.
My listing has mistakes. How do I correct them?
Email us your corrections and we will take care of it within 24-48 hours.
I don’t want to give you my email address because I’m afraid I’ll get SPAM...
We are not spammers and we hate spam just as much as you do, but it’s a fact that if you list an email address on the internet it will eventually get spam, so protect yourself and use an email address that has a good spam filter. Be advised that SearchBoise.com is like an online phonebook for the Treasure Valley and is viewable by the general public. We would be happy to hide your email address on your listing upon request.
How did you get my information?
SearchBoise.com free listings have either been gathered from other public directories or were submitted directly by the listing owners themselves or by someone else in their organization.
How do I delete my listing?
Email us and we will take care of it within 24-48 hours.
How are the listings sorted?
SearchBoise.com listings are sorted dynamically by popularity and relevance. Every page view throughout the site is counted constantly and the listings are always sorted on-the-fly based on which category/subcategory/listing has received the most page views at that exact moment. This way you are sure to find what you are looking for quickly because the ‘cream rises to the top’.
I don’t want my competitors to be listed / I want to be the only one in a category...
SearchBoise.com is similar to the yellow pages, in that it is simply a public directory. Just like you cannot be the only listing in the phonebook, you cannot be the only listing on SearchBoise.com.
I don’t have an email address. Can I still have a listing?
No. An email address is required. There are plenty of free email services out there such as Hotmail, Yahoo!, etc.
I don’t want my street address displayed in my listing. Can I still have a listing?
No. A street address is required. If you work at home or do not want your address displayed for any reason, we will accept a PO Box or a mail drop (Postal Annex, UPS Store, etc.).
I don’t have a website. Can I still have a listing?
Sure. Having a website is not a requirement to having a SearchBoise.com free listing.

Why do I see listings for Meridian and other surrounding cites?
SearchBoise.com is focused on the Boise Metro Area which, as we’ve programmed it, includes any location within 50 miles of the Capitol Building (83702). Some exceptions have been made for businesses in Sun Valley for instance, but this is done on a case by case basis and depends on the location of the business and it’s relevance to Boise. For instance, a Jackson’s Food Store in Sun Valley wouldn’t make the cut since they are everywhere, but the Sun Valley Lodge would since it is unique and is visited often by people from Boise. If your business is outside of the Boise Metro Area, but you would still like to reach our market contact us and we will consider allowing your free listing or you might want to look into purchasing advertising on SearchBoise.com.
