In 2007, the City of Boise celebrated the 100th birthday of one of its most beloved treasures, Julia Davis Park which runs along the south side of downtown and is nestled against the Boise River. Some notable Community events are The Boise Philharmonic′s Sounds Like Fun Concert Series, St. Luke′s Women′s Fitness Celebration′s Women′s Show Summer Camp & Activities Fair and Cover Kids Search, Idaho Shakespeare Festival′s Family Night Performances, The YMCA′s Harrison Classic Run, Morrison Center′s Family Series, Discovery Center of Idaho, The Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees and The Boise Hawk′s Family Nights.
